Based on the short story by Oscar Wilde 'The Happy Prince', a moral and social allegory that places shallowness versus altruism, idleness versus sacrifice and contempt versus compassion.

In a world of social media and the draw of 'screen time', I have painted screens of beautiful Dorset, places where I could be outside with my family, in the style of an Instagram 'feed'. It is as though I am pushing the 'feed' over my family.
